Post an appeal for a missing person

Anyone with an account can post an appeal. Include as much as you can: name, age, where and when they were last seen, and a clear description. You can add up to 5 photos — recent, well-lit photos genuinely help.

• You can offer a reward (optional) — it's shown on the appeal.
• You choose whether visitors may download your photos (for example to print posters) or view them on-site only.
• Appeals are checked before publication, to protect the people involved.

Always report a missing person to the police first. Appeals here amplify official efforts — they never replace them.

"I have information" — sending a tip about a missing person

If you recognise someone on an appeal, click "I have information" on their page. You'll be asked for your email, phone number, what you know, and optionally a photo.

Your tip is checked by our team before it is passed on. When it's approved, the person who posted the appeal is told at their next sign-in — the "there is hope" moment this site exists for.

Please only send genuine information. Knowingly false information about a missing person is treated with the utmost seriousness and may be passed to law enforcement.

Managing your appeal: edits, found, and rewards

Everything lives under People → Manage my appeals. From there you can:

• Read information received — tips our team has checked and passed to you. Follow them up carefully and share anything significant with the police handling the case.
• Edit the appeal — add photos or update details. Like all edits, changes are re-checked before going back online.
• Mark as found — the moment we all hope for. Found and closed appeals leave the public listing, and you can record whether a reward was claimed.
